Creeping Jean – Stuck In My Ear

What do you get when you take five lads with a plethora of great hair, individual style that would make Sir Bradley Wiggin’s tailor jealous, a vintage shop in Brighton and an insanely good self-isolation rock n’ roll video to accompany the equally insanely good new single?

It can only be Brighton’s own Oliver Tooze, Joe Habberlywob, Paddy Stanton, Josh Stone and David Gayler, better known as rock n’ roll’s worst kept secret, Creeping Jean with their latest offering “Stuck In My Ear”.

If just one thing right now is going to get you dancing on those trotters with limbs everywhere and the majority of us without social rhythm but not giving two shiny fucks, then “Stuck In My Ear” is surely it.

The self-isolation video was shot by the band in their homes after original plans fell apart due to weird times we are in.  Oliver says of the video “I think two months ago was the last time roughly, when we were all in the same room, but we’ve been skyping twice a week for  chit chat and making plans of action. The last thing we had booked in as a band was the official video for this tune, we had to cancel as our film director and two of the band had symptoms, so we had to get another plan going for an isolation video to get out asap”

The sepia influenced video is full of style, nods to the past and of course some congas, and why the fuck not. So get ya tinted glasses on, dress to impress and cut some rug around whatever you can right now to this guitar heavy, rock n’ roll tune and hail the virtue that is Creeping Jean.

Feast your eyes! :
